Where do I store my baggage while traveling
on PeruRail?
A. Passengers may store their baggage in the
baggage car on the train. Upon arrival, please
present your belongings to the baggage counter,
there is also space inside the passenger cars
for a small handbag or backpack per passenger*.
Q. May I take my bicycle with me on
the train?
A. Yes, simply take your bicycle to the baggage
counter upon arrival.
Q.
Do I need to tip porters?
A. Tipping porters or baggage handlers is at
your own discretion. As a guidance a typical
tip is between 1 and 3 Soles per bag.

Can I store my baggage at one of the stations?
A. Lockers are not provided, however, you may
leave your luggage in our baggage storage room*.

for lost, damaged or stolen baggage or the contents
of your baggage. We suggest that you do not
carry valuables with you.

When should I board my train?
A. All passengers should board 30 minutes prior
to the scheduled departure.

What do I need to do if I lose something?
A. Please inform a PeruRail representative.

Do you serve refreshments on board the train?
A. A variety of food and beverages are served
free, or at an additional cost, depending on
the class of service.

What accommodation is provided for handicapped
passengers or those needing special assistance?
A. Every effort will be made to assist passengers
with any need they may have. We strongly recommend
travelling in an Inca Coach for any passenger
needing special assistance. Oxygen is provided
on all trains for passengers having difficulty
acclimatizing to the high altitudes.
