PUNO  -  the Folkloric Capital of Peru

Puno is Located on the shores of Lake Titicaca,the highest navigable lake in the world (3800m / 12400ft).There is a legend that states that Manco Capac and his wife Mama Ocllo,founders of the Inca Empire,emerged from the waters of Lake Titicaca.
