Ski Farellones,Hotel Posada Farellones: Farellones, Chile is one of the hot snow ski areas in Chile, it's only 50 Km from Santiago and features over 16 ski lifts it shares with its sister city El Colorado. It is known for the special texture and amount of powder snow.
Ski La Parva ,Chile: La Parva is one of the smaller ski resorts of the resorts near Santiago. It offers a variety of slopes to challenge the expert and yet is a great learning place for the beginner. Termas de Chillan Ski Resort,Chile: This is a well developed ski area about 40 km east of Chillan City. The city is on the Panamericana 280 miles south of Santiago and also has good train service from Santiago. The road from Chillan City is paved about 60% of the way and the rest is via a well maintained dirt ( actually sand and gravel) road.
