1 – BUENOS AIRES:

‘9 de Julio Avenue’, the widest in the city, it is possible to spot the Obelisk,
the monument that symbolises the city, and the famous Colon,Theatre (Opera House),
a masterpiece of architecturewith superb acoustics.The tour continues to San Telmo
neighbourhood, birthplace of the city,and to May Square, historical and political
centre, surrounded by the Government
House or ‘CasaRosada’, site of the national government,the Cabildo, historical
building which was centre of the colonial political life,
the Metropolitan Cathedral and the Town Hall, site of the city government.
Then
on to La Boca district, picturesque neighbourhood where the Italian
immigrants
settled andfamous for ‘Caminito’ street. The tour continues along
May
Avenue, typically Spanish, to get to‘Plaza de los dos Congresos’ just in
front
of the Congress Building. Heading north, the tour gets to aristocratic
Recoleta district, known for its Cemetery and to Palermo, wide
and beautiful park located in the heart of one of the most elegant areas in the
